Crazy as it may sound but
Our bodies do not
come with instruction books
Now that doesn't mean
our bodies do not show signs
Granted the signs we are looking at
are not very clear
Rather they show the delicate
nuances of a woman's body
And they can frustrate us
and make us do irrational things
Testing our patience and
teaching us how not to obsess over
Urine samples and temperatures
and cervical position and
Late arrival of our not so favorite
Aunt Flo and we wonder if we should
Temp again in the morning or
In the evening or whether an
Ovulation Predictor Kit can
really be used to detect pregnancy or
Not and whether we should just try to
Sleep through the Two Week Wait.

Maybe there is a place where we can go
Online to find
More information about all of this
and where there are
More women that are going through
this same chaotic
Asylum-needing obsession?

Knowledge is power we say to ourselves
And the more that we learn the more we can
Take charge of our bodies and our lives with the
Hope that soon we will hear
that magical news -
"You're pregnant!"

And so we find a community where obsession
about temperatures is
Not considered silly and in fact
is encouraged on an almost Daily basis.

Even though our dreaded Aunt arrives
there is always someone nearby to
Love us a bit and to share
a {{{HUGS}}} and to let us know
that her arrival
Is not the end but
is the beginning of new possibilities.
Yes, it's a
Zany place where women contemplate
the many colors of
Aunt Flo and whether
Basal Body Temperatures
can really be trusted after just
Eight hours of sleep but the
Tryingtoconceive.com site
is a place we call
Home.
