My Name is Laura. My dh and I have been ttc for 15 months
with no luck at all, I am Hypothyroid I take .25mg of
synthroid to correct this and as of now I have normal
thyroid levels, I am also taking 150mg of Clomid
(this is my first time on clomid)
I have had all my levels checked FH, LFH, LH, and my progestrone,
all my levels are normal except the progestrone,
My ob/gyn said it is low because i DO NOT ovulate on my own
and the clomid would raise my progestrone levels to where they should be.
My dh had a vascetomy reversal in Nov 1998 he had a SA 2 months after
the reversal it was a good SA, He then had it rechecked in April 1999
do you think he needs to have his Sperm checked again, and can Men kill off
their on sperm after a reversal?I also had internal and external sonograms
to check my ovaries and uterus they are both normal and i had an HSG the
first week of Feb 2000 and their is NO blockage so my only hope now is
the clomid and dh sperm.

I just found this board a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to find a
board on "Successful Stories after Vasectomy Reversal". This month is the
month that my husband was just starting to renew his sperm count and we timed
everything. I don't want to be obsessed because I have waited so long for
this to happen (5 years) and I want this to be a somewhat "natural" endeavor.
I have the kind of cycle that is 28 days to the hour almost and I have
terrible cramps when I ovulate. We had sex during ovulation (I know because
it hurt like H-LL). I am now 1 day late and wanting to test, but I don't want
to get my hopes up. I have not thought a lot about the possibility because I
knew if I worried, it would make my cycle late. I think it is your body's way
of punishing you for adding stress to an already hectic life. I bought a
Pregnancy Test, but am afraid to use it.

I would like to know if you have been contacted by any other couple
that is going through what we have?
